Tackling the Terribly Wonderful Inevitable Twos

We’ve all heard of the terrible twos.  Some of us have experienced them . . . and have moved on to the terrible threes, fours, fives, etc.  Hahaha!

Tackling The Terribly Wonderful Inevitable Twos

But some of us are new moms fearing or slowly entering the stage of tackling the terrible twos.  Fear not!!!  There is joy to be found in that stage in life.  Tackling the terribly wonderful inevitable twos doesn’t have to be a bad experience.

There are many milestones to be discovered and celebrated.  It is an age of transition for our little ones.  As they learn to express themselves and find the right words to tell us what they want, they are filled with frustration that comes out in the form of tantrums.  We will all lose our patience at some point, at least a little bit.  The frustration will carry on over to us, the adults, the mature ones.  We may then feel ashamed or even feel like failures as mothers.

In this podcast episode, we try to bring perspective to the terrible twos and any other hard stage in raising our kiddos for that matter.  There is light at the end of the tunnel.  It is a stage that can be beautiful and enjoyed.  Yes, I said it, ENJOYED!

Our patience will definitely be tried.  We will try a million things to address the tantrums.  But in the end, we will prevail.  Those cute little cuddly chubby cheek toddlers will be loved, know they are loved, and love us to the moon and back.
