Balancing Mom And Work At Home Responsibilities
I was listening in on a presentation from the Mom Conference going on this week . . . . at 2 A.M. in the morning, because that’s when moms get things done. The presentation was “Start a Business with a Little Hustle and a Lot of Guts”. The presenter said one thing that caught my attention: “Balance is BS”. She said there is no real balance but rather prioritized decisions and you try to be the best mom, wife, and business owner you can be.
That gave me some relief. I kept thinking there was something wrong with me because I couldn’t figure out the right balance between blogging, a home business, and my family that would make me excel at each one of those.
Being Mom Is Work . . . Period
Whether you work out of the home or in the home for money . . . being mom is hard work, PERIOD. Amidst the daily grind, some moms find a way to be the best moms they can be and still explore some money making hobbies from home. Although balancing mom and work at home responsibilities isn’t fully possible, some moms definitely have awesome skills at getting many things accomplished in both areas. One such mom is Rachel, a mom from our Facebook Everything Stay At Home Mom community. Despite being super busy with her family and special needs child, she has found a way to be a baker and a crafter. So we just had to ask, “How do you do it?” . . . . . I’m sure you’re dying to know too! Listen in to our latest podcast: Balancing Mom and Work At Home Responsibilities to find out.
